About the role

As a Client Services Consultant at NZHL, you will have the exciting opportunity to mentor and support our clients using our financial structure and tools, to take control of their financial well-being and to protect what’s important with appropriate insurance. You’ll be part of a growing, life-changing business with the work that you do.

Additionally, you will be supported by a manager whose primary focus is towards elevating your career development through reflection, mentorship and additional resources for you to succeed.

Your day will be kept busy with:

  • Coaching and supporting clients either by phone, online or in-person meetings
  • Responding to client requests for top-up loans, restructuring and repayment changes, and general enquiries
  • Ensuring continuous quality of service to clients via NZHL’s prescribed debt management system and review process
  • Regular training/continuous improvement initiatives

About You

You will be a self-starter who enjoys connecting with people to build lasting professional relationships.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Solid experience in Risk Insurance or Home Lending is essential
  • Level 5 Financial Services Certificate – Core and Risk or RPL is required
  • Be a natural multi-tasker with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets or KPI’s
  • Be able to work independently and within a team, to meet common goals
  • Careers aspirations to be a business owner
