"When we arrived in New Zealand mid-2014, we rented a property. During 2016 we were ready to purchase our first property in New Zealand so we started approaching different financial institutions. At this time the property prices were also climbing at a rapid rate, and with every bank and financial institute we approached, we were let down and could not get any pre-approvals, positive responses or signs that they were willing to assist us with the purchase of a home. We felt extremely deflated as owning our own property was very high on our agenda. Towards the end of 2016 we approached NZHL Ormiston and we met with Prawin. During our first meeting, Prawin showed so much interest in us and our financial goals. His first question to us was “ what are you looking to achieve over the next five years”. After sharing our plans, wish list and desires, Prawin gave us the confidence that we could achieve these, if we are committed and work towards these goals. We then formulated and discussed a plan forward as well as a time line with Prawin. In September 2017 we purchased our first NZ property, in September 2018 we were able to take the entire family to the USA for a 31/2 week vacation, and in August 2020 NZHL Ormiston assisted us with the purchase of our first investment property. Our journey with NZHL Ormiston has been very personal, and with every meeting with them, you feel like you have visited family, as you don’t just meet with Prawin when you go there, but with other members of the team for a quick catch up. Prawin and his team, has been involved with every financial step we have undertaken since 2016 and he continues to monitor our situation as well as our next steps. Being in a foreign country, has had its challenges, but NZHL Ormiston has walked this journey with us and has definitely made this journey more settling and successful. "
