Terms and conditions – Lego Competition

  1. Information on how to enter and the prize(s) form part of these terms and conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  2. This is a competition promoted by The New Zealand Home Loan Company Ltd (NZHL)
  3. Eligibility: All participants must be over 18 or older.
  4. A valid entry is a person who attends the Waikato Home & Garden Show and completes an entry form, guessing the number of Lego pieces in the jar. The person with the correct guess, or the closest estimate, will be the winner. If there is more than one person who guesses correctly, those people will go into a separate draw where one person will be randomly selected to become the official winner.
  5. Dates: The competition runs during the Hamilton Home & Garden Show from the 3rd of October 2024 – 6th of October 2024.
  6. Prizes: There is one prize to be won. One Lego Friends Adventure Water Sports set is valued at $100. This will be selected randomly.
  7. Winner notification: The winner will be contacted via phone or email using the contact details provided.
  8. If a winner cannot be contacted within 3 working days, NZHL reserves the right to redraw the prize.
  9. NZHL reserves the right to amend, vary, extend, or discontinue the promotion at any stage, for any reason.
  10. NZHL reserves the right to exclude any person from participating in the promotion on reasonable grounds.
  11. NZHL reserves the right to refuse to award any prize to an entrant who NZHL decides (in its sole discretion) has violated the Terms and Conditions or won using fraudulent means.
  12. Only the person who originally entered the promotion can be awarded the prize (the ‘Winner’).
  13. NZHL’s decisions regarding the winners are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  14. Not redeemable: The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
  15. Information: By entering the competition, winners agree to their names being published and to be photographed and/or videoed by NZHL or promotional partners, and they may use their names, photographs, videos, and/or interviews for publicity purposes if necessary.
