Terms and Conditions – NZHL Christchurch North New Client Promotion 2026

By entering this promotion, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

Eligibility and Entry

  • Entries for the NZHL Christchurch North New Client promotion will be accepted from 22 September 2026 to 31 October 2026.
  • To qualify for this promotion, the participant must:
    • Be aged 18 years or over
    • Not be an existing client of NZHL at the time their application is submitted. A person who has previously contacted NZHL or attended an appointment with NZHL but does not hold an active home loan or insurance policy arranged through NZHL remains eligible; and
    • Become a client of NZHL Christchurch North and within the promotional period:
      • submit a home loan application arranged through NZHL Christchurch North on or before 31 October 2026, which is subsequently drawn down and settled on or before 15 December 2026; or
      • submit an insurance application arranged through NZHL Christchurch North on or before 31 October 2026, which subsequently results in an insurance policy being issued on or before 15 December 2026.
  • Applications submitted after 31 October 2026 are not eligible for entry regardless of when the home loan settles or insurance policy is issued.
  • General enquiries, financial advice discussions, consultations, loan applications, and insurance quotes that do not proceed to a qualifying home loan settlement or the issue of a qualifying insurance policy by 15 December 2026 are not eligible for entry.
  • NZHL Christchurch North reserves the right to recover the value of the reward from the participant if:
    • A qualifying insurance policy is cancelled or lapses due to non-payment of premiums within 12 months of the policy issue date; or
    • A qualifying home loan being moved, cancelled, or amended within 12 months of the loan being drawn down and settled.
  • A person referred to NZHL Christchurch North under the NZHL Christchurch North Refer a Friend Promotion is not eligible to enter the NZHL Christchurch North New Client Promotion. Any such entry will be deemed invalid, and NZHL Christchurch North may notify the entrant of their ineligibility.
  • By submitting an entry, the participant confirms that they give permission for NZHL Christchurch North to contact them.
  • All personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and the NZHL Privacy Policy.
  • Reward: Each eligible participant will receive a reward equal to the value of their August 2026 electricity bill, up to a maximum of NZD $500. If the bill exceeds NZD $500, the reward will be capped at NZD $500.
  • The August 2026 electricity bill:
    • must be for a New Zealand residential property;
    • must be issued in the participant’s name; and
    • must be provided to NZHL Christchurch North upon request.
  • Only one (1) electricity bill reward may be claimed per household or residential address.
  • NZHL Christchurch North reserves the right to disqualify any participant on reasonable grounds.
  • NZHL Christchurch North also reserves the right to withhold the prize if, in its sole discretion, it believes there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions or the entry is fraudulent.
  • Eligible participants who have met all eligibility requirements, will be contacted within 14 days to arrange their reward unless otherwise previously contacted.
  • To claim the reward, participants must provide a copy of their August 2026 electricity bill and any information reasonably requested by NZHL Christchurch North within 14 days of being contacted.
  • If an eligible participant does not respond, provide the required information, or claim their reward within 14 days of notification, the reward will be deemed forfeited and NZHL Christchurch North will have no further obligation to provide the reward.
  • The reward is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash. All prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged or substituted.
  • To claim the reward, the winners must provide valid identification (e.g. driver’s license, passport, or birth certificate).
  • NZHL Christchurch North reserves the right to amend, extend, or cancel the promotion at any time and for any reason.
