Terms and Conditions – NZHL Karaka Refer a Friend Promotion

By entering this promotion, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

Eligibility and Entry

  • Entries will be accepted from 27 July 2026 to 27 October 2026.
  • The prize draw will take place on 28 October 2026.
  • To receive an entry into the draw, the referred person must:
    • Be aged 18 years or over
    • Be a new contact to NZHL
    • Be referred by the entrant during the promotional period; and
    • Become a client of an NZHL product or service through NZHL Karaka during the promotional period.
  • One (1) entry will be awarded for each eligible referral.
  • For the purposes of this promotion, a person is considered a client when their eligible NZHL home loan has settled or their insurance policy has been issued and commenced.
  • General enquiries, financial advice discussions, consultations, loan applications, and insurance quotes that do not proceed to an active product are not eligible for entry.
  • There is no limit to the number of eligible referrals submitted by an entrant.
  • The referrers must obtain consent from the individual being referred to before submitting their personal contact details.
  • All personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and the NZHL Privacy Policy.
  • Prize: One (1) $750 Prezzy Card for the winning referrer and one (1) $750 Prezzy Card for the referred person.
  • NZHL Karaka reserves the right to disqualify any participant on reasonable grounds.
  • NZHL Karaka also reserves the right to withhold the prize if, in its sole discretion, it believes there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions or the entry is fraudulent.
  • The winning entrant and their eligible referred client (together, the winners) will be notified via email, phone call, text message, mail, or in person and may be required to participate in promotional activities as requested by NZHL Karaka.
  • The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash. All prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged or substituted.
  • To claim the prize, the winners must provide valid identification (e.g. driver’s license, passport, or birth certificate).
  • NZHL Karaka reserves the right to amend, extend, or cancel the promotion at any time and for any reason.
