Terms and Conditions – NZHL Northern Bays Refer a Friend Promotion 2026

By entering this promotion, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

Eligibility and Entry

  • Entries for the NZHL Northern Bays Refer a Friend Promotion will be accepted from 13 October 2026 to 15 December 2026 (“Promotional Period”).
  • To qualify for this promotion, the referred person must:
    • Be aged 18 years or over;
    • Not be an existing client of NZHL at the time the referral is submitted. A person who has previously contacted NZHL or attended an appointment with NZHL but did not become a client and does not hold any active product with NZHL remains eligible to be referred;
    • Be referred by an existing NZHL Northern Bays client during the Promotional Period; and
    • Become a client of NZHL Northern Bays and either:
      • settle a home loan arranged through NZHL Northern Bays on or before 15 December 2026; or
      • have an insurance policy arranged through NZHL Northern Bays issued on or before 15 December 2026.
  • General enquiries, financial advice discussions, consultations, loan applications, and insurance quotes that do not proceed to settlement of a home loan or issuance of an insurance policy on or before 15 December 2026 are not eligible for entry.
  • Each eligible referred person who settles a home loan or has an insurance policy issued on or before 15 December 2026 will receive one (1) entry into the prize draw.
  • The referring NZHL client associated with an eligible referral will also receive one (1) corresponding entry into the prize draw.
  • ***A referred person may only generate one (1) eligible entry under this Promotion. Where a referred person settles both a home loan and an insurance policy during the Promotional Period, only one entry will be awarded.
  • There is no limit to the number of eligible referrals submitted by a participant. Each qualifying referral will generate an additional entry into the prize draw for the referrer.
  • If more than one person refers the same individual, only the first referral received by NZHL Northern Bays will be eligible for entry.
  • By submitting a referral, the participant confirms that they have obtained the referred person’s permission for NZHL Northern Bays to contact them.
  • All personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and the NZHL Privacy Policy.

Prize Draw

  • One (1) eligible referred client and their referring NZHL client will be drawn as the winners of the promotion.
  • The winning referred client will receive one (1) $750 Prezzy® Card, and the referring NZHL client connected to that referral will also receive one (1) $750 Prezzy® Card.
  • The prize draw will take place within 14 days of the Promotional Period ending. If a winner cannot be contacted within 14 days of the draw, NZHL Northern Bays reserves the right to redraw the prize.
  • NZHL Northern Bays reserves the right to disqualify any participant on reasonable grounds.
  • NZHL Northern Bays reserves the right to withhold the prize if, in its sole discretion, it believes there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions or the entry is fraudulent.
  • The prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash. All prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged or substituted.
  • NZHL Northern Bays reserves the right to amend, extend, suspend, or cancel the promotion at any time and for any reason.
  • ****Where a qualifying insurance policy is cancelled or lapses due to non-payment of premiums within 12 months of issue, or a qualifying home loan is moved, cancelled, or materially amended within 12 months of settlement, NZHL Northern Bays reserves the right to deem the entry invalid and withdraw any prize awarded.
