Terms and Conditions – NZHL Taupō “Find the Fun” Competition

Information on how to enter and the prize forms part of these terms and conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

This competition is promoted by The New Zealand Home Loan Company Limited (NZHL) trading as NZHL Taupō.
The competition opens on Friday 9 October 2026 and closes at 5pm on Friday 6 November 2026.
NZHL Taupō reserves the right to amend, vary, extend, suspend or cancel the competition at any time.
Entry is open to New Zealand residents.
Participants under 18 years of age must have parent or guardian consent to enter.
You can enter in either or both of these ways:
(a) Billboard entry: Take a photo of yourself with the NZ Home Loans ‘fun’ billboard located at [location], and post it as a comment on the official competition post on the NZ Home Loans Taupo Facebook page.
(b) Golf tournament entry: At the Chamber Golf Day on Thursday 15 October at Taupo Golf Club, take a photo of yourself with the NZ Home Loans ‘fun’ feature at our sponsored hole, and post it as a comment on the official competition post on the NZ Home Loans Taupo Facebook page.
Participants may enter once via each method, for a maximum of two entries per person.
Photos must clearly feature both the entrant and the NZHL “Fun” display or billboard.
Entrants must have permission from all people appearing in their photo. Any person under 18 appearing in the photo must have parent or guardian consent.
Entries containing offensive, inappropriate or unlawful content may be removed and deemed ineligible.
By entering, participants grant NZHL Taupō permission to use and share submitted photos across NZHL marketing channels, social media platforms and promotional material.

The prize:

There is one prize consisting of two tickets for a Hukafalls Jet 30-minute jet boating experience, valued at approximately $358.
The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
Any costs associated with claiming or using the prize, including travel, accommodation, food or other expenses, are the responsibility of the winner.
The winner will be selected randomly from all valid entries.
The winner will be contacted via Facebook Messenger and announced on the NZHL Taupō Facebook page. The winner agrees to us sharing their name and photo on our social channels to announce the result.
If the winner cannot be contacted within three working days, NZHL Taupō reserves the right to redraw the prize.
Only the original entrant may be awarded the prize.
NZHL Taupō’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to have their name and photograph published by NZHL Taupō for promotional purposes.

General:

Participants must act safely and lawfully when taking photographs. NZHL accepts no responsibility for any injury, loss or damage arising from participation in the competition.
Competition entries become the property of NZHL.
Personal information will be collected and managed in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and the NZHL Privacy Policy.
This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Meta.
