Terms and Conditions  

• Information on how to enter and the prize(s) form part of these terms and conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.  
• This is a competition promoted by The New Zealand Home Loan Company Ltd (NZHL) for participating offices including Papanui, Mandeville and Christchurch North.
• Eligibility: All participants be 18 years or older  
• Entry is free.  
• A valid entry is a person who takes out new home loan lending or insurance cover with a participating office including home loan top ups, refinance loans or new home loans. 
• For every recommendation that leads to an initial consultation at a participating office before July will also receive one entry into the draw.
• Dates: The competition runs from Monday 24 April to Friday 30 June 2023 at 11:59 pm.  A prize draw will take place on Monday 3 July by 12:00 pm with winners selected randomly.  
• All loans must be settled, and insurance cover started by Friday 30 June to be eligible and are subject to lending and eligibility criteria. 
• Prizes: There is one prize per participating office. The Prize is a trolley fill of groceries worth up to $750.

 Note: the winner will go into a local Countdown Supermarket to fill the trolley in a Grocery Grab with their local NZHL office. Alcohol, cigarettes and vaping products are excluded. 

• Winner notification: Winners will be contacted by their local participating NZHL office via phone or email using the contact details provided. If a winner cannot be contacted within 3 working days, NZHL reserves the right to redraw the prize.  
• The Winner must be available to do a ‘grocery grab’ at an agreed upon time and location. If unavailable, NZHL reserves the right to redraw the prize. 
• The Winner may perform the Grocery Grab or they can nominate an immediate family member or NZHL team member to perform the grab for them.  
• The Winner has 2 minutes to perform the Grocery Grab up to the value of $750. 
• Once the Grocery Grab is complete, the products will be processed at the checkout. If the final value is over $750 the winner will choose which products they would like to exclude.  
• NZHL reserves the right to amend, vary, extend, or discontinue the promotion at any stage, for any reason.  
• NZHL reserves the right to exclude any person from participating in the promotion on reasonable grounds.  
• NZHL reserves the right to refuse to award any prize to an entrant who NZHL decides (in its sole discretion) has violated the Terms and Conditions or won using fraudulent means.  
• Only the person who originally entered the promotion can be awarded the prize (the ‘Winner’).  
• NZHL’s decisions regarding the winners are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.  
• Not redeemable: The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.  
• The prize is valid for new lending or insurance cover or client recommendations only.  
• Information: By entering the competition, winners agree to their names being published and to be photographed and/or videoed by NZHL or promotional partners, and they may use their names, photographs, videos, and/or interviews for publicity purposes.
