"Kia ora koutou katoa, I would like to acknowledge the hard work, support and the excellent customer service from my New Zealand Home Loans-Taranaki consultant, Glenys Paterson Business Owner. I have been with NZHL for over 10 years and throughout that time, as you can imagine, there have been some significant life changes for me and my loved ones. One of the more stressful and significant times for me, was a long term relationship break up and the possibility of loosing my home, due to the separation. Glenys was the first person I consulted, when deciding whether or not I would be able to secure a future for myself and my children. She knew how important this step was going to be for me and my future. She went into bat for me and worked hard to ensure I reached my goal. I became the sole owner of my family home and thus marked a new beginning and a sense of security, you can not put a price on. There have been renovations, changes to salary, relocating, new jobs and refinancing to navigate during our relationship and I have always felt secure with the advice and decision making I have made with the help of my consultant. "I first heard of NZHL about five years ago just prior to buying our current home when a friendly neighbour recommended giving them a call as we were looking to secure finance for our new home and since I’d been with just about every bank you can name and the odd mortgage broker all of which were terrible to deal with, I thought why not? It took no time at all to meet with Glenys and go over the details, equity, structure, rates, debtnav etc and we were SOLD! Finance all sorted. One o the best things we ever did, in 3-4 years of having a managed home loan and being able to plan ahead via debtnav we had paid off a large percentage of our mortgage to the point where we had so much equity we bought another property (commercial) solely by leveraging against our house so essentially the new property is mortgage free!! I doubt we could have done that with any other provider. We now have a great relationship with the ‘bank’ where we get personal service from the owner, very competitive rates, and really do have a ‘managed home loan’. Whether you are thinking about your first home, looking to refinance or buying your next rental property to add to your portfolio your first stop should be NZHL. Thank you Glenys and NZHL for all you have done for us."
