Meet Glenys, your local adviser
After having a career in banking for three decades, Hawera-born Glenys has variously worked as business manager, mobile manager and agri-consultant for three major banks before joining the team at New Zealand Home Loans’ Taranaki office in May 2013. She was drawn by the tools New Zealand Home Loans uses to make a real difference in people’s lives, saying that no other loan provider offers the same level of support and Taranaki personal connection. In 2014 she took over as Business Owner of the Taranaki office.
Glenys is a member of the ‘Success like No Other’ BNI branch in New Plymouth and enjoys fishing, tramping and travel. She enjoys socialising with friends, having moved to New Plymouth from Auckland in 2007.

"I first heard of NZHL about five years ago just prior to buying our current home when a friendly neighbour recommended giving them a call as we were looking to secure finance for our new home and since I’d been with just about every bank you can name and the odd mortgage broker all of which were terrible to deal with, I thought why not? It took no time at all to meet with Glenys and go over the details, equity, structure, rates, Debtnav etc and we were SOLD! Finance all sorted.
One of the best things we ever did, in 3-4 years of having a managed home loan and being able to plan ahead via Debtnav we had paid off a large percentage of our mortgage to the point where we had so much equity, we bought another property (commercial) solely by leveraging against our house so essentially the new property is mortgage free!! I doubt we could have done that with any other provider.
We now have a great relationship with the ‘bank’ where we get personal service from the owner, very competitive rates, and really do have a ‘managed home loan’.
